This is the final email regarding May 31st.
For those who didn't make it to the meeting last night, here is what was decided:
Address: 1401 S. Oak Knoll Ave.
Pasadena CA, 91106
Start time: 5pm
End time: around 8pm
Transportation. We strongly recommend that you take public transportation (trains/buses), as there is little to no parking in the area, and the CoS will likely be taking down license plate numbers in the area. Carpooling is also a good idea... but do not carpool with anyone who you do not know and trust. You can also drive, park a decent ways away, and call a cob to bring you to the event. Public Transit information is listed at the end of this email.
Attire: Preferably nice clothes (suits, dresses, etc), but it is not required.
Signs: If you decide to bring a sign (which is recommended), please make them different from our usual signs. We need classy, catchy, legitimate signs. These are the big time, high rollers we'll be dealing with (David Miscavage, Tom Cruise, etc). Signs like "tax the cult" won't mean jack to them. Neither will memes. Please don't put up memes. So please make sure your signs are appropriate for the event. NO HONK SIGNS.
Fliers: Feel free to bring fliers (it's recommended in fact). However, please do not litter, and do not post the fliers on any trees or the like.
Noise: Please do NOT bring any bullhorns or the like. A music system and music is already being provided. We want to keep the noise at a reasonable level, since we will be in a classy residential neighborhood in the evening. These people are use to their peace and quiet, so if we get out of hand, there may be trouble.
Refreshments: We already have people who will be bringing drinks and coolers, but if you would also like to contribute, please send me an
email and let me know what you can bring. We will also need people to stay for a bit afterward to help clean up any mess we have made.
Police/Law Enforcement: Rest assured, we have spoken to the local law enforcement, and they have given us the OK for what we are doing. They only ask that we keep the noise down since we will be in a classy residential neighborhood, and that we clean up any messes we make.
Going Inside the Hotel: Please do NOT go inside the hotel. We do not want to make any trouble with the hotel staff or security. If you need to use the restroom, we will arrange something (come see myself, Noir, or another coordinator).
