ENTURBULATION IS DOWN.
Didn't know where else to post this.

Enturbulation.org is now down. This is not due to another DDoS, rather the server seems to have been unplugged. Admin accounts through our email server have been deleted.

LE has unplugged the server. In attempts to call him, I have received curses, name calling, memes, loud music in the seconds he answered before hanging up. The noises back-dropped by the sounds of California Freeways.

At this moment it seems that Enturbulation.org is no more. Some members of the staff have been discussing this, as well as what we can do for the last 45 minutes.

Our conclusion is to wait until the rest of the staff is awake to continue discussions, and try to contact LE again to see what he has to say.

At the moment, the options in-front of us are if it is wise to recreate enturbulation. We have database backups, and could have a new site running. Unfortunately it would be on another domain name. The question of hardware also comes to mind, although we've just bought a new server, it's either at LE's house or being mailed to him as this is written.

We will try to keep you updated as things unfold.

Ath doesn't update this site, but look for the School's Closed post soon. Things have just been crazy and busy lately and the mod staff has admittedly dropped the ball.

Get ready for a popular opinion: i think enturb is pretty ghey. It's good to have a big treehouse for tha anons, but enturb=WAY too much drama, and i think the mods and admins are in large part to blame. Disagree? I care.

I think DW is now a mod there. How constructive can THAT be?

I can almost guarantee, without a central planning forum that is making any sense, there are going to be a lot of people missing from next months protests.

Yeah thats why i said its good to have a central site, i agree. I just didnt like the way enturb was run/some of the attitude prevalent there. Nor did i care for the thunderdome. Take that shit back to /b/.

Edit: I just went to Scientology exposed...wow, it is so fail. I give it a month. We really need people who are either physically or mentally over 30 to admin these sites it seems. Not because of "maturity level" as much as competence level. Damn. What a retarded site.

i spoke to some of the admins/staff from enturb and theres some weird shit going on.. LE freaked out or somethin, i donno.  anyway, a new site with the old enturb database will be up in a few more days, so everything should be back to normal soon.  

and regardless we have a nice spot here to play in :)

I like the idea of a centralized site too, but...

The new site has all the old faults of enturb, x10. There's no thunderdome, but now there's the AIDS pool (not funny). There's no one to oversee anything, so the mods bully anyone they disagree with. They already put one of my posts into the AIDS pool, AND changed what I said.

I remember back when this movement was cool and everyone seemed to be on the same page. I left a few months ago because I couldn't stand all the dramacrap/backbiting/hatemachine garbage. Now I wonder why I even bothered registering on the new site -- or why I thought a new site would even change anything.

I'm glad Enturb is gone. This was a magical thing, folks. Now the magic's gone.
