Also more people have sunday off work than saturday! Would be better for our numbers and it's far enough in advance to change the date to accommodate the most amount of people! Also it forces the handlers to show up on sunday when they would normal be doing laundry, sleeping in ect.
FYI - Most of the people at Gold Base are in the Sea Organization and they have 7 day work weeks. They do not get to "sleep in" on Sundays. DM probably has that luxury. Also, the Sea Org'ers I knew had 4 hours off on Monday mornings (for the entire week) to do their laundry, go to the store, get haircuts, etc.
In the Sea Org, there is never any rest for the weary. Handlers were a 7-day work week like everyone else.
