November Raid Location Poll

Vote for where you would like to raid in November.

Big Blue is off the menu for the time being out of respect for the general public residents of LRH Way and their struggles with road closures and their progress with the LA City Council.

Pasadena was a great success this last weekend, it was awesome to raid a fresh new area and the residents are receptive and a lot of fun.

Voting is important, make your voice heard! Vote early, vote often, and you can change your vote if you change your mind.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

I'm curious why LRH Way is off the menu now that the LA City Council has shelved the matter and Scientology lost leaving the cult very pissed off.  I have done several flash raids with other anons, and several have done so without me, and each time an anon shows up, the normally busy LRH Way quickly turns into a ghost town (with the Scilons running & hiding inside the buildings).

Abandoning LRH Way is a bad idea IMHO (a view shared by Graham Berry). Each time I have encountered residents there, they have been supportive & grateful of our efforts.  Sorry, waiting for the City Council to act definitely on LRH Way could be years in the making and I'm not willing to put aside this prime cult location for that period of time.  Protesting in Pasadena may be fun but it is certainly not causing the cult the level of butthurt that would occur if we protested on LRH Way.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

I will join you guise this November for about an hour or so due to personal obligations. Close to public transportation would be superb.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

i'm not into Glendale due to how annoying it will be public transpiration wise, in the subway and other rail lines it easier to hide and spot scilons if you are followed

As has been mentioned numerous times, it has nothing to do with waiting for CityCouncil to make a move or "abandoning LRH Way", it's simply this:

For years, LRH Way has been a steady stream of constant toots and horns and parties and set ups and tear downs and whatnots and now that we've finally made some leeway and gotten the residents some peace and quiet for a little while, we're being nice and letting the residents enjoy that peace and quiet for a little while, instead of being opportunistic and immediately jumping in to raid and toot our own horns in a large group.
Remember this: We didn't want the changes on LRH Way simply so we could raid whenever and where ever we please. Yes, it's nice for us, but moreso, it's to help the residents of the area who've had to deal with this nonsense for so long.
It's not always about benefiting us, it's also about helping other people.

Ath: I'm speechless.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

Glendale would be really nice because I happen to know (yup, lol), That area gets gooood traffic. Pasadena would be nice too, but it's on a not so main road (although close to Colorado) so not as much traffic. I'm still more on Glendale, but I'll go anywhere, no problemo.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

I like the idea of Glendale, a but would like to go to a flash or mini raid first to see how the area feels.  So, not voting yet.

And will need some more flash raids in the Hollywood area so the scilons there do not feel ignored.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

Yeah, I wouldn't mind hitting up the Glendale Org.
I loved the foot traffic in Pasadena and really liked the surrounding areas, but for an "ideal org", that org was pretty blah. They didn't even have a sign. It was hard to even tell that it was a Sci building and I think it would make a better scene if we're protesting an org that is actually discernible as a Scientology building.

And yes, Hollywood definitely needs some flash love.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

Glendale's fun - I've been there before, and there are 2 locations v. close to each other that we can move between.

Pasadena was a really good time, but instead of being in front of the Ideal Org building on Raymond, I think we should move ourselves up to Colorado, where all the foot traffic is!

This makes sense.  We can still point to the empty FAIL org down the street

Re: November Raid Location Poll

Glendale has a HUGE public Scilon population!

Also, the street that the mission is on is a huge foot/car traffic area in Glendale.

Re: November Raid Location Poll

I like the idea of Glendale. There's beaucoup foot-traffic, lots of stuff to do before/after, movement between two orgs.

Regarding public transportation, I posted the MTA service map of the area below. For MTA info, visit http://http://www.mta.net.

Alternatively, you can also take the MetroLink to the Glendale Transportation Center, and then take a short, free ride on the Glendale Beeline to the proposed location. MetroLink info, go to http://http://www.metrolinktrains.com/. For Beeline info, go to http://http://www.glendalebeeline.com/.

The arrows are pink because you're all fags. I know the area & the pubtrans pretty well, so if anybody has any questions, I'm happy to help!
