The vote for the global date is going on at WhyWeProtest.net atm, but all signs are pointing towards Dec 13th being the date.

As for location, how is everyone feeling?  There has been a lot of talk about returning to Hollywood for December, especially because Scientology tends to do a big Santa/Tree exhibit at their longsign bldg on the blvd.  Oh, and don't bicker too much over HGB vs longsign as they are about 4 blocks away from eachother!

Personally I wanna hear some more info about how the xmas exhibit stuff works so I can decide.. but I'm leaning towards longsign right now since we can easily walk to HGB if we want.

All the action will going on at the long sign, with their Winter Wonderland attracting tourists the entire month.

No other area will get as much scilon/public contact as this area in December.  So in addition to global, constant raids here are encouraged.

It is still under construction, but the photo cottage is pretty far along now.

Waffles, if you get the chance, check out the winter wonderland in progress.  They spend a lot of money on it to attract tourists.  If they block us, they also block their potential marks.  It is a BIG month long PR event for them...you know, where they give back to the community </barf>

This will affect them more money wise and PR wise.  And they don't have guns like at Gold.

Edited to add that the scilons did not put up the scaffolding for the last global we had at HGB...so no guarantee they will do so again.

I selfishly voted for Big Blue because it's closest to my shop,
but I'll probably show up wherever it's decided to have it.
