Help requested for OC Section!

Are you from Orange County?  Do you love to enturbulate?  Do you want to be able to post things and get people interested in your area?  Then by all means, please do!  Just hop right in and get started.. we're just somewhat lacking with board regulars from that area at the moment.

Let's change that, shall we?

Please report any problems or needs to the Suggestions forum, and we will do our best to accommodate you!  We want socalanon.com to be a home and resource for all of southern california, not just los angeles.

Thanks,
The Management

Re: Help requested for OC Section!

I'm from Orange County! I like enturbulating! I want to get people interested in my area! You must be talking about me!

I will try to hand out some fliers telling about Scientology and Anon, with the urls of Xenu.net and socalanon.com on it. Then we can see if we get an influx of members from the OC area. The nearest Scientology center is about 15 miles away, so they shouldn't really bother me.  :zombie5:

Thanks man! Imma try and get a few of my friends on board as well, just as soon as they get back from Mexico.

I'm thinking about a modified, one-page version of the xenu.net leaflet.

Also, I should be wearing a mask when I hand out these leaflets, yeah? I need to get one of those too... I'm thinking a ushanka and a ski mask.

I could afford a mask, but I don't know where to get one. *Mod edit: Too much info, kthx.* The closest party store is a 15 minute drive, and I don't have a car. I might just use the shirt method, though. That is what I used last Halloween. Maybe I'll wear a fedora on top.

How many leaflets would you (any of you) recommend making? I don't want to print more than necessary, as I don't have vast amount of money.

When making full page flyers, 100 is a good round number, costs about $10 at Kinko's. Either you inform 100+ people (a fine day's work), or you have extras to bring to the next raid.

Re: Help requested for OC Section!

also, if you print 4 flyers per page + 100 print outs ($10 for copies) = 400 flyers!

That's a good idea! Kinda like what my mum does for Christmas cards.

Does Kinko's do double sided copies? And if they do, how much of an additional charge (if any) is there?

Damn, I wish that "Make Your Own Dinners!" place didn't replace the Kinko's by my house.

Kinko's does anything a copier can do. As for the charge, you'll have to take that up with your local Kinko's.

Try doing a googlemaps search for office supply stores or copier places around you. Kinko's is handy, but it's not the only copier place out there.
