Close, it's going to be at the Shrine.

Re: October 2009 - Global Location Poll

isn't the shrine kind of a pain in the ass to get to? also i remember hearing the cops there tend to be dicks.
but anywho anyone know how to pull a few strings or whatever to make it so we can stand anywhere we want over there?

Yeah, you stick to the sidewalk without blocking foot traffic. Unless I'm not understanding the layout.

I'll do you like I did Roy, so back the fuck off.

Yeah, it seems like the Shrine could be a pain.  I vote that the global be at Big Blue, and the IAS thing at the Shrine can be raided by a smaller group.  Just a thought.

What Glib said.

Any place out of the way creates smaller globals.  But the Shrine is excellent for a raid on its own.

Re: October 2009 - Global Location Poll

i still think the 10th or 17th at big blue might be better for the global, and i'm sure we can still have a sizable group at the shrine on the 24th. can we still plan that as a separate raid?

though wait... think there will be buses from BB or HGB taking people over

your right, since the shrine is across the street from USC the Public Safety guards are going to be mega dicks with protesters and will block the street most likely

All the more reason to protest the everliving fuck out of it. The path of least resistance is also the most boring.

Re: October 2009 - Global Location Poll

if we end up at the shrine can we still do something so we can be on any part of the sidewalk we want? i just remember last year in march so much was blocked off, and i'm not sure we made much effect because of that
