We are delighted to announce that the City of Los Angeles will once again be presenting The Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 29th. Last year's parade was a great success, and the 2009 event should be even better! We look forward to your support and participation in this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade.

This parade is to promote Hollywood.  If any of you have been in TV Shows or movies, contact your agents to get a place in the parade IMMEDIATELY!  Wink
Also, it has highschool bands and such.

I guess it would not hurt to ask about being in it but the organizers just want to provide an opportunity for Donny Most to be on the back of a convertible and be viewed by some yahoos in Peoria.

I would like to discuss options more, but in back channels.  No need to tip our hand.  Hopefully the A&A Fail Train will show up and deflect all cop activity as they did last year.

In this pic, the desk on the left is where 2 scilons (Jim Meskimen and Michelle Stafford ) announced the entries and the camera focused on them.  The area in front was blocked utterly so no signs were able to be displayed.  But if the 2009 parade is like the 2008 one, what people watching the parade will see is scientology announcing the parade throughout.
The last parade was poorly done.  It was almost canceled the year before and they were still trying to get financial backing.  Although it was being filmed, it was to be for limited or DVD release.  This year, it will be delayed televised as it was in the past and the scilons may put bigger faces in the annoucer's chair.

I do some work with a PR firm, Ill put some feelers out there to see what I can do, either in getting other celebs on an anon march/float or just to get there in front

Bump.
This will be fun, so make it if you can.

Big signs, if you have them, will likely only be OK in the walkways behind bleachers or near the front or end of the parade route, as they may block the vision of people who came to see the parade.

People will be checking out the route before hand to give an idea of what it will look like.

The parade starts at 6pm, but the street will be blocked-off the night before and many people will be there before the parade...where signs and fliers would be more appropriate.

Sycamore (By ASI) is a staging area, so hanging around there at some point might be fun.
