I know I stated earlier that no one should protest or raid Scientology alone at this time because of the unstable and unpredictable nature of their actions recently. However, today I did this on accident. I was under the impression that I was going to have some Anonymous back up when I went to Upland's Mission today alone. Though today everything was OK, mostly because there was some kind of small outdoor festival in the plaza where this Mission sits. Again, I do not recommend this. I feel I was lucky not to have even been attacked.

It went well anyways. Though I had no fliers I did talk to a lot of people and inform them of the fraud and abuses. Shortly after I arrived, an older scilon came outside and she was on her cell phone. Approximately 5 minuted later a police officer came to the mission to talk to her then left without speaking to me. In my estimation he informed her that I do have a right to free speech. Shortly afterwards she came out with a clip board to write up a KR on what I was doing and even wrote what my sign said (she was looking very hard at it.) After she finished she went inside and came back out with pink fliers, handed one to one of the vendors. About 10 minutes later after she realized no one else wanted her fliers or even walk neat the building she went back inside. Which is the extent of the action.

I found that a lot of the local business owners were not only very positive about my cause, but VERY supportive. The information is out there and a lot of people are already are well informed. Their lies aren't holding up anymore. Though a bit nerve wreaking picketing a criminal organization all-alone; overall it was a positive experience. Again, I highly advise against picketing alone. I doubt I will ever again.

One of the things that struck me about this picket was the fact the scilon not only read my sign, she wrote it up and most likely passed it along. Perhaps in future flash pickets, messages to scilons should be presented on signs. There's no telling how many eyes laid on that KR of hers. For all of you trying to find ways of getting information over that wall, here's another idea for you. ^_^

OOOHHHHH thats scary......next time bring your mask in a backpack, package, brown paper bag, and then you can check out the scene before you mask up...then you could join some peeps who maybe came together, etc.....and, NEVER raid without a "laserbeam" ie camera, video and still, get a coolpix for your own protection........and  ALWAYS have local numerical superiority!!!! or at least relative local numerical superiority......excuse me for being obvious    stay safe

 Though good advice for anons; having picketed Scientology in Kansas City, Los Angeles, and St. Louis in the span of 2 years without wearing a mask, protecting my identity is a fruitless effort. Needless to say I will not be picketing alone again.
